Cochem is a small German town on the river Mosel. Cochem is famous for its fine wine, as well as, the castle Reichsburg, which can be seen from far above the city. We did not try its wine, but did go to castle Reichsburg, a very well reserved castle. The tour guide spoke German all the way, but answered questions in good English. A good trip overall.
Christmas is good. But for us tourists in another country, it could be a little boring. Because, all the shops should be closed, at least that was what we believed. Luckily, behind our holiday park, there is a nice piece of forest for us to explore. I have to agree, that 4 hour walk was a quite great adventure.
My shoes and pants got soaked by the creak, but still managed to take some photos and find my way back before the fog covered everything up.
