My daughter had ballet exam that day in Bunnik, a small Dutch town near Utrecht. We managed to get there 1 hour earlier, basically because we read the exam info a little wrongly. We decided to go to the Fort bij Rijnauwen instead of sitting there and wait. Fort bij Rijnauwen is supposed to be an old fortress located near by. This indeed looked like a good plan. We did reach there without any problem, we did have a nice walk on the nice road, thought this was not our intention, we still did not find the fortress. It started to rain, before we figured out which way led to the castle. But at least, we did not miss our daughter’s exam.

Scheveningen is one of the eight districts of The Hague, Netherlands. Scheveningen is a modern seaside resort with a long, sandy beach, an esplanade, a pier, and a lighthouse. The beach is popular for water sports such as windsurfing and kiteboarding. The harbour is used for both fishing and tourism.
The Posbank, different from its name may suggest, has nothing to do with “Bank”. It is a sort of nature reserve, full of heathers, located 2-hour drive from where I live. This is the first time in my life, that I got up that early and drove that long to a place that I have never been before just to take some photos. My first photo was take at 6:25am.
